This is a worthless topic. Pac wouldn't make it out of round 5. He would have to fight him 7 times to win a round.
Arum would keep Pac away from Leonard.. but Pac would still fight him and lose. I got no problem with Pac losing to THE SRL.
Sugar Ray Leonard already gave the answer to this thread topic when he whooped Aaron Pryor. :deal Oh, wait...... :hi: Leonard did a Floyd on Aaron Pryor.
pac would get schooled. Just imagine what ray would have done to the likes of cotto, margo and clottey lol
Pryor turned down the fight because he wanted more money. Leonard would most likely beat Pacquiao. As great as Pacquiao is, I have a tough time picking him a guy like Leonard, who peaked at WW. I don't think Leonard would fight Pacquiao like he did Hagler, as said above. Hagler was a physically larger fighter, a natural middleweight, with slower feet and legs (especially by 1987). Leonard was generally more offensive minded and flat-footed. Which is not to say Ray would fight totally reckless against Manny, but he'd fight in his more natural style.
Yep. It was Pryor's fault for being too much of a beast which scared Leonard off. A light welterweight scaring a full welterweight even back in the 80s. History does repeat itself. (unlike Pryor, Pac has never proven to be a cheat)
It's Pryor's fault for turning down a career-high payday to fight Leonard. It's HBO's fault for producing a documentary that pollutes the minds of boxing forums with stupid myths like "Leonard ducked Pryor" and "a Nicaraguan judge gave every round to Arguello".
i'm pretty sure Manny would be prepared for a sugar runner leonard. but the pac that showed up May 7th vs prime SRL? pac by KO!!:smoke
