Sugar Ray Leonard Vs. Winky Wright...

wrights style is a ***** for anyone.


I think wright could actually win, however I also think the judges could be swayed by leonards flurries and flashy combos even if they are mostly blocked. Leonard would probably get a controversial decision.

 

I dont think Ray fought in his prime at middle...but he did fight at jnr middle against Kalule and I can see some parallels between those two fights.
Kalule was a very good defensive fighter with a great right jab like Winky.

Ray would be just to quick and would negate Winky's awkwardness eventualy, actually I think pretty quickly and he would take a very clear decision in the end.

Winky is one of those fighters that could almost beat anyone!!!! His style is weird ass hell but i think Leanard wins a close fight. 7-5 sounds about wright.

If if Soliman, Mosley (**** version) and Jermain Taylor could get that close then there are a great deal of fighters throughout history who would prove that logic extremely flawed. Leonard being one of them for a start.

 

leonard won't put a dent to winky but should win a decision.

 

Ray would have beaten Winky clearly on points. Too fast, and too many angles for Winky to deal with.

 

LMAO! This post overrates the hell outta Winky. Ray would have beaten him no questions asked. As would have Hagler, and Hearns. McCallum beats him also, and I'm give Benitez a good chance at beating him.

 

SRL is probably one of the few that would make a Winky fight look decent. Winky is boring as hell. I'm not sure who's the better sleeping aid, Mayweather or Wright?

 

Leonard would decision him over 12. Leonard would not fear that guard. He'll be hitting behind those elbows, up the middle etc
