You're arguments are so easy to dismantle I look forward to each reply.

A boxer being dropped means nothing. It's what he does when he gets back up thats important. Anyone who thinks otherwise if a moron.

Joe throws more punches than ANY boxer out there at that weight atm. Who says Joe would stop punching?

Again I point to the Lang, Benitez, Leonard comment I made earlier. How can you be so positive which Duran Joe would be fighting?

People can critisize Calzaghe's level of opposition for 90% of his career but anything else is a mute point.

Duran beating Calzaghe is more comical than the proposition of this thread.

Duran absolutely did not look anything better than passable as a super middleweight.

i do not like using boxing recs to prove a point, i did not even remember the joppy loss

    camacho loses i forgot about.

duran`s record shows he was still competitive at the higher weights , but nothing more than that.

.....and the simple fact is, none of them were as good as joe calzaghe who bernard priced himself out of a fight with after initially agreeing terms with.

you can move the goalposts all you want, none of that will save your initial point that bernard didn't fight calzaghe because he had better alternatives, that has been blown out of the water.

Calzaghe would beat a prime Haglar by UD. Little Vito A. gave Haglar a helluva fight, especially in the second 1/2. Calz. is way bigger, faster, and light years ahead of Vito in the ring. Haglar would be moving up for the first time, and his biggest strengh was being able to impose his will on his opponents, this ability would be diluted by moving up in weight. Guys he had problems with, like Leonard & Duran, were adaptable and smart fighters. Calzaghe has all the ingredients to beat Haglar: speed advantage, great movement, great adaptability, tremendous workrate, size and a great chin. It's a bad matchup for Haglar.

    For record... Joe beats Hagler.

Now, as far is this tag-team match-up. Given Ali's health and age, and the fact that Robinson has passed.... I think that Joe takes this one easily.

Guys, I entered this thread to exlax on Pac's greatest fan. PAc can do no wrong while Cal always does wrong lol. The sooner you see that pusshead has a phony opinion on boxing, the better. He has little girl arguments that go nowhere, and he gets exlaxed on in his own threads every time I enter them and read what other posters have to say. I rarely jump into his threads and post, but every now and then you have to take time out to read the utterly ridiculous...lol.
