Is there any fighter in the history of the weterweight division that anyone on here would outright pick or be at least 50/50 on to beat the sugar man at 147? Personally while i think leonard, burley, napoles, hearns, griffiths and montreal duran would give him a good argument i would definetly pick robinson to beat them.

And if the answer is no would there be anyone else in the other originally 8 weight classes that you would also pick over everyone at there particular weight class?

I really think that both Leonard and Hearns at 147 could be 50-50 to beat him.

I'd make Burley close to 50.50. That's it.

Hearns is 1-1 against top men at the weight, trains for weight-making rather than peak condition, and has little experience at the highest level. You want to put him in with peak Sugar? I got Robinson by moider.

I think that Barbados Joe Walcott could be a good shout especialy under the right ruleset.

Leonard maybe might, though i think robbi was just a little better at most things than leonard, i'm totally confident that hearns at 147 doesn't last 15 rounds with ray and i can't see him taking robinson out before robinson takes him.

Burley is most probably the hardest fight for him still pick Robinson to beat him tho.

I think with Hearns very dangerous at welter. So much so that even though weight drained gave Leonard the fight of his life.
I see the same kind of fight against Robinson. Hearns boxing, even though he was a banger, this is what he did best.

I think Hearns would make an interesting fight of it, but Robinson reaches him and knocks him out late.

Leonard doesn't beat Robinson. How anybody could think Leonard stands much of a chance of beating Robinson after seeing the Duran and Hearns contests is beyond me. Duran would be more competitive than Leonard (he was the better weltweight after all).
