I won't belabor you guys with any more vids today (I hope)...but I've got to post this one...of The Greatest...no, not Ali.... This content is protected This content is protected
Oh Red, you just go on and on. Start a new thread: "Who was the second best fighter to ever step into the ring?"
SRR was an animal. Most think of a fancy boxer but he was tough and hit like a sledgehammer. That KO right hand he hit Graziano was a thing of beauty. Ray made Rocky run right into it.
Joe Louis said he never saw a harder hitting Welterweight until Hearns come along. SRR had power in spades even at 160.
To my mind, that was one of the most poetically beautiful knockouts in history...in the same class as that magical ko of Gene Fullmer.
SRR was way ahead of his time..had everything a fighter needs..Had a mean streak to boot too..even though he could box like a butterfly when he wanted to..but the fighter in him,for the most part, never allowed him. Not too many you could put ahead of him H2H from 160 -175. Simply the GOAT.
this legends rhythm and flow Is second to none his hand speed and power sublime an his footwork is just an immaculate work of art Sugar Ray Robinson is the Greatest
It would be a great video to show how SRR set up that right that koed Graziano. Not just a beautiful punch but also an incredible set up. One step ahead of his opponent.
