modern boxing prevents that from ever happening, the best way to make a fair judgement is to split the timeperiods up since when fighters generaly started to box few times a year instead of every week.
Lets say untill the 60´s and from there on foreward, that would mean pre 60= SRR 60-10= Ali obviously, manny is top 4 for me after the 60´s

 

Why not just appreciate the guys for what they did and stop trying to categorize them?

Guys of today just will not be able to compete with the guys from before. The commission wont allow it so we will never know.

Back then fighters wouldnt even need to be healthy to fight and they did anyways.

Can you imagine Pac or PBF fighting injured? I mean this isnt no bad socks issue. This is serious.

 

What if a fighter moves from flyweight all the way up to heavyweight unifying each division and then retiring undefeated. Will SRR still be the GOAT? Can't say someone will always be the best, you don't know what lies ahead.
