u could say to an extent that he is overated. there are many people who are under the illusion that he could not be beat by anyone. but i reckon there a few boxers from history who could of beaten him i reckon he is the best of all time. nobody can match his all round ability and unbelievable achievements willie pep was the better boxer defensively but pep never had the ko ability of robinson. robinson had a much superior punch resitance and achieved much more than Pep. pep was never a world champion when he was approaching middle age like robinson
