What happens? Would Robinson even attempt it? If he did, how long would it last and how would it go?

As great as Robinson is, I see Spinks stopping him. Spinks moved up into the land of giants beating heavyweights, I don't see a 160 lber going up to 175. Spinks had incredible power at light heavyweight, and size, speed, the whole package. Robinson wouldn't be able to outbox him or seriously hurt him.

That's how I'm seeing it. If Robinson was facing a lalonde or andries that would be different, he'd be facing a great light heavy here. So try as he might Robinson would fail to get a way in against the jinx. At some point, late on, spinks would stop sugar, and it would've even be close.

    I would take Spinks.

Maxim was a big light-heavy but didn't have the power that Spinks would bring to the table. Off the Maxim fight, I don't think Robinson could hurt Spinks.

Maxim was a light punching LHW and he had Robinson on his bicycle in extreme heat.

Robinson never moved up to LHW. His 157 was MW range.

Giving up 20 pounds to Spinks? Thats suicide, he is getting knocked out.

This would more than likely be a bridge a little too far for Robinson. Spink's was hardly small at the weight.

Yeah Id have to favor Spinks in this punch up. For reasons stated above.

Ray might take a ten count here.

Ray is not beating one of the best light-heavyweights ever.

He could most likely beat some lesser LHWs champs but may get starched by Spinks.
