Hopefully, there will be people who can answer this as they saw the man train themselves. Anyways, the question is: I just came across a quote which said that Ray Robinson told Nat Fleischer that " he prefers to hit small speedbags and small double-end bags to develop his accuracy rather than hit the heavy bags, he always said that accuracy was more important than power." for those of you who saw him train at the gym, is this how he really trained? not focusing much on the heavy bag? and did he beleive that accuracy was more important than power?

There are a few guys on Classic who'll know the answer but I'm certain that John Garfield(avi) would know. He's VERY knowledgeable on that era so either wait for him to respond or message him.
