Sugar Ray Robinson v Marvin Hagler Prime vs prime Robinson would win on points, both great, tough champions, this fantasy fight would be one of the best middleweight boxing matches in history

At middleweight? Hagler probably wins a close decision

No one in this fight would get KO'd as both have tough chins, but I'd say a points win still to Robinson's hand speed would have won him the fight, the strength of Hagler Robinson would have coped with, like when he fought other great tough fighters like Jake LaMotta and Henry Armstrong to name a few.

If Robinson gets 5 months to train and prepare for 1 fight he would kick the **** out of whoever it was.

If Robinson was around and in his prime today he'd some some freaky record like 50-0 50 KOs.

Yeah his best years were 1946-51, but also did well in his latter years at Middleweight Robinson. I have a lot of respect for Hagler too, tough fighter. The technical thing I can see Hagler doing wrong is when he doesn't keep to Southpaw stance like when he fought Leonard in the first couple of rounds he lost because he switched, other than he was one of the best.

Hagler but on a fight between two greats it's going to be very close

    Robinson via late stoppage.

Hagler is hands down an all time great but he just doesnt compare to robinson. it would still be a great fight
