What was Floyd's best performance at Welterweight? His 2008 win against Ricky Hatton?

And this is far from a dream match. Only a sadist would waste a time machine on this thing. It doesn't take a Ray Robinson to beat Floyd Mayweather. Someone like Chavez would have been closer to 50-50.

Maybe I wasn't quite clear what I meant, if so sorry, let me try to clarify.
Back in SRR's day the way in was on the same day as the fight. Therefore, it is safe to assume that the fighters then had the same or close to the same weight they did weigh in, in SSR's case he maybe weighted 150 for his fights at 147, potentially even less.
Nowadays fighters drain themselves for the weigh in the day before a fight and blow up the next day. Castillo-Coralles II was just an example for the difference between the weight fighters fought at and their actual weight on fight night.
Mayweather certainly not as extreme as other fighters but weighing 140 for a fight at 130 is certainly not beeing a jr. lightweight. So, why should he be compared to the jr. lightweights like Tony Conzoneri or Kid Chocolate? Should he not rather be compared to the jr. welter weights like Barney Ross?
Also, this is of course not a Mayweather specific question, it is a general one.
Hope it is clearer now what I meant.

SRR beats him up. In addition to everything was said, SRR is just so much busier than Floyd.

SRR would definitely win this 147 is Robinson best weight, Robinson was probably the greatest at this weight I wouldn't favour Mayweather over Leonard or Duran let alone Ray Robinson
not saying Mayweather lightning hand and intelligence could make it interesting for as long as it last by I'm picking Robinson by late ko

I got the premise. He was 136 for Corrales, and it's possible he had clothes on for that. I wouldn't classify him as a lightweight, let alone a welterweight. Majority of the lightweights from yesteryear wouldn't be able to make 130.

I'm gonna assume Robinson would win, but Floyd had waaay better defense than Robinson so if he found something to exploit he'd be live.
