Robinson beat a natural middleweight in LaMotta 5 out of 6 times.

LaMotta is like a top 20 ATG.

Robinson did this as welterweighr. Even at his days at middleweight he would come in at 155.

He probably could have made 147 for most of his career and still dominated Lamotta.

If he destroys Lamotta he handles GGG.

Picking GG just shows how much you clowns don't know boxing and how you'll **** ride a fighter who is closer to your country or ethnicity rather than speak logically. Sugar wouldv'e beat the dog **** out of GG!

How is this logical? Picking on who would win from different time periods is illogical, and is always going to be driven by nostalgia and hype. When you argue about something so SUBJECTIVE, logical debate gets thrown OUT the window.

Who said anything about race? It is mostly Floyd fans who always **** on Golovkin whenever they get a chance, we all know the only people who adore and love such a pathetic human being do so based on ethnicity

Exactly.Beyond idiotic comparison. These are 2 completely different generations. All topics like this do is start an unwinnable fight that will never be answered. It's all opinion and guess what? You aren't gonna change the other dudes mind.

You said who said anything about race, then out of nowhere mentione Floyd fans, and basically end up talking about black people. Your thinly veiled agenda is so painfully obvious, it's laughable. Go back to burning crosses on people's lawns you idiot.

GGG first round KO. Robinson would be too weak after the dug him up. He wouldn't be able to get near 160 either. They'd need to make a catchewight of 10-12 lbs.

Robinson KO4 + Robinson beat anybody in todays Top 20 Middleweight Rankings
by KO1 or KO2 - would be unbeaten in his career

SRR has never been in a physical shape to face a fighter like Golovkin. Also, he was a smaller guy. Fighting as often as several times a month, he had to walk at around 160 making him 10 pounds lighter than Golovkin.

No disrespect to the ATG, but it is a different era now.

Little early to be putting GGG in fantasy fights with TBE. Its more fair to let him finish his career and then compare.

I'm a believer in Golovkin but even at 160 lbs. where Robinson was cooling he would bring the kind of fight the Kazakh has yet to get a whiff of. He'd be made to second guess, eat leather, fight at a pace. I'm sure he'd get stuck in but until he takes some quality scalps (which unfairly might mean having to tackle Andre Ward) we shouldn't favour him over one so thoroughly proven. The same goes with Hagler.
