Robinson lights Golovkin up like a goddamn Christmas tree. If Alvarez's combinations could trouble the guy...

Worse middles than GGG beat SRR. And that's just the plain damn truth.

Golovkin has struggled with the only two quality fighters he ever faced. That's also the plain damn truth.

Competitive but SRR UD. Then again I never pick against him, so.

GGG suffers from a weak resume. He looked devastating crushing tin cans but he struggled against B level (Jacobs/Canelo) middleweights. Talk about overrated. He NEVER looked spectacular against his top comp.

When you have a resume that of SRR with 200 fights, you are going to lose some. That's how this sport works. And these 2 resumes are miles apart … Of course GGG has a chance, but on a good night for SRR, it isn't much imo

Did SRR ever face a middleweight with a jab like Golovkin's? Genuinely curious. If Ray can deal with Golovkin's jab, he can beat Golovkin.

Robinson by clear decision. GGG isn't a mauler. He isn't super awkward or huge for the weight. Golovkin is a good slugger/boxer.
I think Sugar Ray would be able to establish his boxing groove. Side to side movement keeping GGG from getting off. Golovkin doesn't go to the body consistantly to cut down that movement.
    Sugar Ray 10-5.

Randy Turpin had a very strong jab along with a Ken Norton type of awkwardness. He was also a very, big, powerful Middleweight.
Ray had alot of problems with Turpin one night. He might have left his legs in France too.
