no way on earth Robinson could knock GGG out at middleweight! Maybe if he has a knuckle duster in one hand and a bat in the other, he'd have a reasonable chance.
Prime for prime I'd pick GGG as the natural middleweight

Golovkin is too big, too technically proficient and too durable for SRR. Let's not forget that "middleweight" nowadays is the "light heavy weight" of SRR's time. And yes, before y'all ask - Golovkin is better than Maxim.

 

Are you going tell me that lil' Basilio or the lumbering underpowered robot Fullmer or the one-hit wonder Turpin were better head to head than GGG?

Robinson at his best at middleweight for me doesn’t have too much trouble here.
Too fast and too slick for the slow moving GGG who to me is overrated on here.
There’s also the question of Sugar Ray’s power, Golovkin isn’t they hard to hit, that granite chin would be severely tested.
