Robinson showed he can achieve relative success against top ranked light heavyweights in his fight with Joey Maxim. Choynski was a light heavyweight who competed against, well, everyone. He fought Jeffries to a draw (many reporters believed he had won), beat George Godfrey and Denver Ed Smith, as well as Peter Maher on occasion.

However, despite Choynski's skill and power, he was a bit chinny. Do you think Robinson can win this?

At 175 Robinson was at a disadvantage but based on the shellacking that Barbados Walcott gave Choynski I see a UD for Ray.

Apparently Choynski was hurt and sick before that fight.

Well that's interesting. I've never heard a boxer make excuses for a loss.

Choynski takes this, Ray is not a light heavyweight

You havent? Well heres a couple..

Foreman's excuse for losing to Ali
    1. The ring ropes were loosened so Ali can lean away from his punches.
    2. He had eaten a poisoned ****** fillet.
    3. His best friend was cheering for Ali so he became distracted.

Carl Froch's excuses for loosing to Mikkel Kessler
    1. His eardrum was perforated
    2. There was an ash cloud from a volcano
    3. I ate bbq burgers and drank fizz pop

Like i said , here is just a couple of examples but there are plenty more.

Jesus you youngsters should turn off your sarcasm filters.
Good quotes, though you didn't mention Pacmans shoulder injury and Mike Tysons blown back which was spinal.

My sarcasm filter is off...for now anyway.
I wanted to leave Pacman out of it since there was an actual surgery on his rotator cuff following the loss to FMM and also because I enjoy lumpia.

Choynski usually weighed around 165-170 in his prime, although I've seen a few fights where he was in the 170s. Definitely the bigger man here

All of which makes him a very impressive fighter. But it doesn't make him 175 pounds.

What it makes him is one bad mofo who wouldn't have much trouble with a blown up welterweight.

That may be true, and is a different issue.
