But the catch is that it's a welterweight Robinson vs the Mugabe that hospitalized Hagler (according to boxrec)

SRR outboxes Mugabi.....if Mugabi hits him like Graziano did SRR starts to go surgical and look to end it late Mugabi had a good chin until post Hagler

Mugabi not mobile enough to deal with SRR. In a 10 rd non-title fight, SSR wins by UD, but probably gets rocked himself several times.

SRR outboxes, batters and hurts Mugabi...and wins a decision.

That's the essence of it,Mugabi could hit but was stiff-legged,Ray wouldn't be there for the big artillery.

Sugar Ray gave away weight on a routine basis when he was at his peak. Artie Levine had at least 10lbs on Robinson and he almost knocked Ray out. He was a full blown middleweight. I dont think Mugabi is gonna show Robinson anything he hadnt seen before.

Mugabi has a good puncher's chance. Aside from that, though,it's Robinson - No contest.

Robinson would have too many interchangeable skills for Mugabi, who was a lot better fighter than most give him credit, and look at his career after the Hagler loss as its focal point. But Robinson would realize the biggest threat Mugabi would pose is if he gets sloppy. He wouldnt get sloppy. Win a comfortable dec, or late stoppage. Mugabi wouldn't have the foot speed to keep up with Robinson.

SRR at 147 lb was like Roy Jones Jr at MW and SMW near flawless. Even though SRR would be giving away weight it makes no difference. SRR on pts.
