The 8 division champ thing is so overstated. He started fighting as a malnutrished 15 year old and there were no multiple titles and junior weight classes in Robinson's time. Guys like broner have become 3-4 weight champions jumping up 4 pound increments cherry picking one of the weaker 4 "champions" in each division.
