That's what gave Sugar his trademark stamina. Try a eating a block right before you go run some miles
if it is true surely it must have been some performance enhancing cheese, does this take anything awawy from his legacy ?
Actually its not blood. Red meats are made up of a lot of water. This water mixes with a protein called myoglobin and ends up turning into that red liquid that everyone thinks is blood. As long as the meat is fresh its usually harmless and since its protein obviously has benefits.
SRR is well known to heave been obsessed with cheese. On his rise to the top he could often be found passed out in hotel rooms with different types of cheese. He would often wake up at 3am and have cheese cravings, we would have to drive for hours in search of cheese, he didn't care where it came from, as long as he was getting it. He even had one of his belts made out of cheese, it was his pride and joy and he had it hanging in his sitting room. One day a tenacious mouse actually got into the room and began gorging on his championship cheese belt, SRR went absolutely crazy and demanded a fight with the mouse, we knew it would be bad publicity if he was seen beating up a mouse so we put some gloves on him, gave him the false name of Jake Lamotta and thus the famous rivalry was born. Not many people know that.
You know that there's no blood in raw meat you buy from a shop/market? It's just myoglobin and the juices.
I guess you learn something new everyday, thankfully I'm not science student. Anyways, yeah that's what he did.
