He's always been a mini-juggneraut. Why do ppl act like Pac just suddenly becamse special ? He was always a freak of nature in the ring. The difference is his skills have been honed and he's not as wild and reckless as he used to be.

Fair do's, i only followed him since 2nd Marquez fight, guess that bit is wrong. Unless he where on PED, only Manny Knows that one. I tend to think he ain't, he's just mad good. The rest still stands though... :smoke

    Never before in history?

Pac didn't knock out either Mosley or Margarito. Do you think in history, there has never been a Mosley or Margarito equivelant who fought a small man with speed of hands and feet and some pop?

    Come on...

You ever seen Armstrong, he used to bust people up left and right, as he got bigger though, he still left em busted up, but his knock out percentage went down, but he still ****ed them up, and he went all the way up to middleweight...

Manny is great, but he has been replicated in the past by somebody somewhere...

I agree, I think the guy just punches better.

Take Golf for example ..... and bear with me here ....... when Tiger Woods was at the height of his success almost all the other top golfers in the World agreed that he simply hit the ball better than them ....... if they were stood at the driving range practising they could tell if Tiger had arrived just by the noise when he hit the ball. ............... now apparently several top players have been quoted as saying Rory McIlroy has taken that to another level, the noise when he hits the ball on the sweet spot is instantly recognisable to these career professionals, they KNOW when McIlroy is on the range.

I think the same applies for Pacquiao over the past few years at least with regards to Boxing, the guy just hits better than anyone else.

However, as my example with Woods and McIlroy suggests, having the stardust (a-side meth?) does not necessarily mean you'll always have it, you can seemingly lose it overnight as in Woods' case and there's always someone else can come in and fill your boots ....

    PEDS don't turn you into a reality-bender.

What was Shane on that he got his face ****ed up but barely felt it? He also said he lost track of six rounds. Hmm.... Sounds like some kind of painkillers to me.

It's the speed of Pac's punches that's the difference. Newton's 2nd Law tells us that force = mass x acceleration ( F = ma ). Supposing Pac's punches is equivalent to 140 lbs, and his punches travels at 100 meters per second, the force of his punches would be equivalent to 14,000 N.

Compare that with a middleweight whose punch has a bigger mass, say 160 lbs, but which travels at 50 meters per second (half the speed of Pac's punches). The force of the middleweight punch would only be equivalent to 8000 N, which is less than the force of Pac's punch.
