shane mosley should just beat cintron and take his belt and then defend it against judha, margarito and berto and then retire!!!!! :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy
I didnt like how shane talked after cotto fight. I think he realy wanted to fight Floyd after Cotto (and he rates Floyd higher than cotto). I realy wouldnt like for him to become some sort of gate keeper, Mosley likes to fight the best, and Cottos proved to him that this division is too hungry and young for him. I still would like to see him fight Floyd tho and then retire.
He's just a shadow of his former self. I'd like to see him retire so we can remember how he was in his prime beating DLH twice.
still mad upset about cotto fight i still thought at best a draw... but cotto did better than i thought he would must admit!... why dont they rematch?
I actually thought Mosley won, so I dont get where all these I think he should retire threads are comming from.
I hope Shane keeps fighting, he maybe on the decline, but he is still good enough to compete with the welterweights out there now.
Good post. I always thought Mayweather would have made an easier fight for Mosley than Cotto. Although I thought Mosley edged Cotto out, I think he's nearing the end. Ashame he never got to fight Floyd. Mayweather is probably thanking his lucky stars.
So you want a guy who in some peoples card won to retire. Cotto is arguably the number one fighter at welterweight and he gave Cotto hell. What makes you think he wont beat any of the other fighters in the division.
I'm a long time Mosley fan and I will name one fighter who he WON'T beat, no matter what: Williams! Mosley should stay the **** away from that guy. If Mosley could still somehow land a Mayweather bout, that would be idea, but that's not gonna happen. Second best bet would be a rematch with Cotto, but that's out of the question in terms of practicality for various political reasons. Cintron? Margarito? Mayorga? Maybe a third bout with Forrest? NOt sure. He doesn't have many logical options. But he best stay the **** away from Williams.
