Page 20. Very basic. :verysad Canseco-Bonaduce gets twice as much ink. atsch Just because it's marginal doesn't mean they have to do everything in their power to marginalize it even further. Surely they could spare Shane a page of his own (1/2 copy and 1/2 pic)??
Agreed. On Sunday or Monday they showed action highlights of the fight and even the fight getting stopped on the ropes. All week they have been following the controversy and Dan Rafael did an interview on sportscenter. Pretty awesome because even after a UFC PPV they aren't getting post fight reactions from fighters on ESPN News.
everytime i pickup an issue of SI i really don't expect to see many boxing articles. not since tyson was fighting it's gotten pretty rarer. i'm thinking it might also have to do with the lack of american fighters or american superiority in boxing, but who knows?
SI never talks about boxing...good to see boxing is getting some exposure...Usually everything is about De La Hoya and he aint' done **** in a few years!
They have something every month, but it's usually a tiny little paragraph tucked away in some armpit of the mag. Sandwiched between things like women's hurling and college darts. :!: It'd be better if they didn't have anything, these little desultory asides are kind of a slap in the face to boxing. Or more a kick in the ribs while down.
What's horse**** is that the handwrap garbage is getting more press than Mosley's brilliant performance
Yes:yep Talking about LeBron's potential free agency a year or so away over Mosley beating Margarito.
yep. it's been a while since they gave boxing some decent coverage. at least the fight and it's implications are taking up airtime on ESPN.
