Shane should win on speed and workrate. But Clottey is a hard dude, and no one ever looks good against him. You have to tip your hat to Shane for taking a fight that has so much downside and so little upside, and at age 38. He is the essence of what a classic boxer/warrior is. An ATG.
I'm very excited for this fight. I don't see how Clottey would beat Mosley as he fights in spurts while Mosley never stops working. I'm curious to see how people going for Clottey see the fight going. Will be a great one.
Mosley will beat Clottey by UD, but this is a disappointing fight for Mosley coming off the big win over Margarito, I was hoping Mosley would get a superfight.
I can't see Clottey keeping up with Mosley's workrate and crisp combinations. Granted Mosley might not connect a high percentage of the time, given Clottey's excellent high guard, but Clottey is a tough man and always ready to fight. He's a very big welterweight. Mosley may not look as sharp as he did against Margarito simply given Clottey's style, so don't be disappointed or call Mosley shot or faded if he wins an ugly decision a la Cotto.
