'Sugar' Shane Mosley vs. Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez - who wins in 2011?

My sarcasm meter is not on today so that came off as one dumbass post!

 

From what ive heard just from their recent performances, id have to say Alvarez has a good shot.

Mosley looked bad against a middleweight boxer, so of course he cant beat a welterweight brawler. Where have we heard that one before. :rofl

I don't think this fight if beneficial to either fighter. If Mosley wins, he's picking on a green fighter. If Canelo wins, he's picking on a shot fighter.

 

Yes, but according to Sergio Mora, fighting a legend gives you a "Hall of Fame resume" no matter the outcome.

 

These passing-of-the-torch type fights are common-place in boxing all the time.

 

Yes, but that's usually when the young fighter is a heavy favorite and ready to head into title contention. I'm not sure how fast they want to move Alvarez. Maybe it's quicker than I thought, because I don't think Mosley is a stepping stone yet.

 

In late 2011, I'd go with Alvarez for the upset.
