Alvarez could be the first to knock Mosley out cold.

!!!BEFORE YOU LAUGH ME OUT OF TOWN!!!

I was virtually the only one who said with any confidence "Alvarez could be the first to knock Baldomir out cold" before it happened. Check my post history. :good

Today I'd still pick Shane but late next year he will be even older and slower, I honestly think Alvarez takes him by than. Mosley is an old man, his time has passed long ago.

Baldomir is very limited and while Mosley is way past prime, he is still far better than an old baldomir.

That isn't the point. The ONLY reason Baldomir was even mentioned was because of how unlikely a result a clean KO was considered to be.

Mosley has never been a defensive wizard and is now getting hit more than ever lately (when opponents actually deign to throw).

Alvarez certainly has a lot more pop than Mayweather, and although he isn't anywhere near as gifted an offensive technician he would land clean hard shots on Mosley, who is showing cracks and beginning to look vulnerable.

Mosley is shot. By 2011 he's gonna be nearing Roy status. Saul can get him by then.

    Dont think so.
Maybe in ten years he might beat Mosley.
    I saw him fight Cotto.
    Wasnt impressed.

Why Mosley gets overrated is BEYOND me.

Yes he had a solid win against Margarito who according to rumors was not 100% for his fight, coupled with the loaded gloves fiasco...I give Mosley credit for it, but I won't be fooled by it.

Put it this way, against common opponents with Cotto being the exception, Zab judah has done better! Both men lost to Cotto, but only Judah was low blowed by Cotto...

Mosley is well on his way out, and the Margarito fight was one of those "Planets aligned" type of deals.

I'll be very surprised is Mosley EVER beats a top 10 young fighter again.

    He has no jab.
    He has no real defense.
He appears to have lost his stamina.
He appears to have lost his timing.
He appears to have lost his will. (Gunshy)

Yup....The ONLY chance Mosley has is a punchers chance, the same chance Breidis Presscott would have.

He is not going to out-manouver, outwork, outslugg, or outbox the young lion.

I think in 2011, Mosley would be the underdog not Canelo.
