i wanna see him go out on a good note...he's been one of the best fighters of our era both in and out of the ring....to keep fighting all these dangerous fights for no titles proves he's a natural born badass..but the man deserves a shot at some title holders....being that oscar is behind him, i dont see what would be so hard to throw him in there with kermit or paul williams....i mean, he did just go neck and neck with the welterweight king miguel cotto....i would love for him to get one more title before he calls it a night..... damn, typing all this really makes me think on how much i'm gonna miss him when he retires..... He needs atleast one more big fight he deserves it. I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Floyd but thats a real hard fight to win same with Paul Williams id rather him get a big fight he would likely win. The way the Cotto fight ended im sure Shane would beat him in a rematch id buy it. If Judah beats Margarito thats a big fight there because Judah can draw for some reason.
If Mosley retires now - he would have gone out on a good note. He put up a very good performance against Cotto - in a very close fight. I think he has 2 or 3 good performances left in him - but we'll have to wait and see what they do.
that's the problem...i dont think judah can get passed margo, and i dont think shane can beat margo either....
I don't really recall anybody ever having any bad **** to say about Sugar Shane. (aside from steroid stabs) He obviously really loves the sport as evidenced when you see him sitting ringside at about every fight there is on TV. PBF/ODH the arena was empty through out most of the undercard, but Shane was sitting there by himself ringside enjoying every second.
Personally im going to miss Shane big time.He was one of my all time favoruite boxers and iv bought everyone of his fights. Its going to be a dam shame when he does retire but alas all good things must come to an end.
ssm great great fighter complete warrior IMO has 2-3 good fights left in him. Will be missed when he retires for sure
Mosley can beat Margarito, I think. He is still one of the most durable fighters in the game, which I think would be a big component if you are going to have success against AM. And I think his speed would ****in' kill and make it a really frustrating night for Antonio. Mosley UD12, I say.
Nice PIC he looks small there:huh i thought he deserved the nod against Cotto, but oh well **** happens:-( he's 37 yrs old now and could probaly fight until he's 40-41, he should be financially set for life, but if he fight's again, i think Hatton would be exciting to see???
i dont know man...after seeing mosley's speed not being a big factor in the cotto fight, i dont think he would be able to keep margo off of him......
:good He's 37, and is in good enough shape to fight until he's 40, he's a nice cat outside the ring too , not an ******* like a lot of boxers..
Maybe you're right. But Cotto isn't too slow himself. Maybe he isn't a silky smooth boxer with flashy footwork, but I think his handspeed is actually pretty impressive considering it is probably the least talked about aspect of his fight game. I think his hands are probably better than Margarito's, and he is a more technically sound fighter as well.
