Shane said, Mayorga tells a lot of jokes and stories, but he always comes up short. Yes, he won against Fernando Vargas in November, but he didnt knock him out. Remember that when you stand toe to toe with me [Mayorga]. I want you to take it like a man. Nothing special, I just liked hearing that coming from him...any fight predictions? I have Shane TKO by round 8.
I have been terible at predicting lately, how about Shane wide unanimous decision maybe a late stopage in an exciting fight. Shane talikng **** with the **** talker he better be careful in the fist three rounds though.
Shane must have Mayo's number and will leave no doubts whatsoever about the outcome of this one. I do fear Shane doesn't have the explosiveness to take him out just like that so he will drop him but eventually en route to a one-sided UD win over 12.
Never know, Mayorga might go through Mosley Vernon Forrest style. Mayorga is taller and rangier so Mosley will find it a bit tricky to keep him off at the start. Mosley doesn't have De La Hoya's jab and range. It wouldn't surprise me if Mayorga shakes him up at the very least in the first four rounds. After that though, you would expect Mosley to maybe stop him late or get a relatively comfortable decision.
I know that when they settle down and go for fistic action like it should be done, Mayo's reach doesn't mean ****... He'll be in the way of home blasters from Shane's right hand all night long and he will feel those as well as he felt Oscar's left hooks and Tito's shots. Talkin about true class and true brawling style on either corner - you don't get involved and it doesn't get messy, Mayo spends twelve rounds hitting thin air with hammer shots and eating overhand rights until he bleeds.
I agree...Mayo doestn't use his would be strengths at all...Shane should maybe counter his wide shots all night.
I don't know. I smell an upset. I think Mayorga will get Mosley out of his comfort zone a bit and outhustle him. I'm going for Mayorga!
