FACT = PBF called out Shane years ago.
FACT = Shane wanted to go to the dentist and on vacation.

Fact is PBF did not want at age 30 in his prime to fight the elite of the welterweight division and Mosley belongs to that list, end of story.

Man, how are you going to add him to the list now, and PBF is about to be 32? :patsch

Totally out of context. PBF was not 32 when he retired. Mosley belongs to the elite of the welterweight of which PBF wanted no part.

I do not even know if PBF beats Margarito just because Mosley did. PBF should face some of these guys which would enable the objective viewers to give him an accurate ATG.

Man, PBF is still young and can fight these guys. Let's do the mythical matchups with PBF and the guys of the 80's.

I said he is about to be.

And yes, PBF was already an ATG before he was even 25. Dude is an ATG at 130 & 135.

ouch. but seems to be true. :!: which was precisely the meat of my question in another thread.

"why the hell is pbf picking on smaller guys?" hatton and pac are disadvantaged. sure the money is there but what about legacy, pride?

he should take on bigger guys so that the skills set will be evened out by size.

A lot of folks here do not understand the ATG status. they are confusing with HOF status.

In order to be an ATG you have to belong to the 100 (or TOP 50 if you are very strict) fighters of ALL TIME.

For example, ranking in the top 10 of all time of one specifiy weight class does not qualify you automatically to be an ATG.

I know that, but PBF showed us that he was an ATG at 130 alone!

I definitley disagree. YOu can'be an ATG at age 25, you have to consider the whole career.

Take for example James Toney: He did fight better competition than Mayweather at 130 between 91-94 at Middle and Supermiddleweight. That was HOF worthy but not ATG worthy.

What he did then at cruiserweight and heavyweight gives him entrance to the ATG.

Didnt matter who he beat at Cruiser or HW, he had already cemented his legacy

PBF has never fought somebody with the skillevel of Mosely.

Mosley has fought very good fighters in the past (Forrest, DH, Wright...)

I wouldn't mind seeing it. However, I'm not sure if Mosley could beat Floyd. We'll see what happens though.
