Vivek W. (ESB): To my knowledge, nothing has materialized in regards to Mosley/Berto, or Mosley and anyone at this time. I think it's clearly a bit disturbing though, because the clock waits for no man. My point about Mosley all along is that we're getting a double-edged sword, here. I think the guy is a class act, but lets call an ace an ace and a spade a spade. Mosley - in his words - is "looking to prove he's the best".

and rather than face those guys and unify, giving yourself absolute supremacy, the legitimate way, you sit idle at age 37 for a full year without working at all, waiting to face two men who have shown zero interest in facing you????? I just can't justify that move, and I'm sure there's an element of personal interest-based politics involved with the decision, but if Shane wants to be political, I have a tip for him.... Face someone soon.... That's the only "Change we can believe in"!

I just hope he's staying in shape and keeping his weight down.

He's waiting for a big payday period. He could fight Berto but is desperate for money because of his divorce.

Look man, Shane has done his thing, he accomplished all he had to LONG ago. Even the Margarito fight wasn't needed but he still took it, he fought the guys he had to back then and now deserves the mega fights.

I would change the thread title to "Mayweather Jr. What the hell are you waiting for?"

That's the best fight for both, I don't understand why Mayweather isn't responding.

Mayweather has responded. He told mosley no fight. Its that simple.

Mosley is hoping to some how lure Pac or Cotto winner into a match. He has more chance with Cotto than he does Pac. But he is playing a dangerous game at his age.

The Mosley/Berto unification match is almost signed, so he's waiting for that.

Mosley's legacy is secured, he has nothing left to prove to anyone he's faced more then enough adversity in his career, if he wants to wait for a paycheck then let 'em.....

It's too risky a fight for PBF, and he already has mainstream recognition. He'd only be "proving" himself to the hardcore boxing fan by beating Shane.

Mosley will be fighting Berto in Jan. He probably should've swallowed his pride and taken some sort of fight between this upcoming fight and the Margo fight. Time will tell how much the layoff will effect him.

I agree with what your saying about Shane, cause he fought everybody no excuses. My hat goes off to him for that, boxing needs more of that .

Shane also acts like Pac & PBF are the only damn fighters left on the planet, all I'm saying is that he has other options left, like taking a belt from one of the other Champs. I know those are the biggest fights for him, but biggest don't mean only...:-(
