The Sugar thread title is misleading. I though this thread was about SNV. Now, I am going out of the thread disappointed.
But I doubt Sugar is the best fight for Manny. We know Shane can't handle the speed of Pac now, we don't know for sure about Berto. And Marquez still gives him problems just because of the styles imo. Shane could shock the world, but based off recent fights he's not the best option.
Yeah I'm not too sure he'll beat him either, but I think it'll still be a helluva fight. Moreso than Mosley.
The only reason Pacquiao will fight Mosley is because it is THE easiest available option. Same with Clottey and Margarito. Both Marquez and Berto are tougher fights than Mosley. With Marquez and Mosley, you know exactly what you're going to get. Except with Marquez, the "get" nearly beat Pacquiao twice. Berto brings a little x factor in with his youth and good combination of power and speed. Mosley on the other hand, well, I'd be singing Pacquiao's praises as much as I was Mayweather's had he been the one to beat him in May when Mosley was most people's clear cut #3 P4P (The Ring, Dan Rafael, etc.).
How many "who should pac fight Marquez, mosley or berto" do we need? There are 4 of these daily. Unless you come up with new names we should give it a rest already.
well if lil floyd only grew a pair and Manny would agree to 0 days (even though 7 is scientifically viable) we wouldn't b asking this....but this isn't a who should manny fight thread....its a shane would beat berto n **** drinker thread.....i hear what u sayin though....4 me if it isn't lil floyd i wouldve rather seen manny take on the ninja turtle instead at AT&T park in San Francisco....it'd b a very diverse crowd with many filipino's and african americans

Marquez is not a harder fight at this weight. Berto might be though. Pac should fight Berto instead. I don't think much of Berto but I might be wrong. He's unproven, this would his opportunity.
This thread isn't looking for a reason to fight shane, its to answer if Shane would beat **** drinker and berto
