The Cloud one is really funny. Everyone flocked and said he lost to Glenn Johnson and was ducking a rematch. So then he decides to rematch Johnson...and now he's ducking Cloud.

Would be cool if GBP didn't own the ring.

Man, I've given Chad his fair share of **** but the Cloud one is over the top. Here's a guy whose fought 1 fighter who could even be considered semi-decent, then decides to sit on his mandatory status for a year when he could be fighting trying to get better and to make a bigger name for himself. At least Diaconu was injured and tried to make the fight appealing- Cloud's team seems like they wanted to make him as unattractive an option as possible for Dawson so that he'd say "**** it" and Cloud would have an easier fight for the title. I thought he was being mismanaged before, then I thought about it and realized it was just a plan to take the easiest road possible for a belt.

    Sad part is, it worked.

I'm all for one belt, one champ... but lets be realistic. There are WAY too many active boxers in the world. Period. Furthermore, have you all forgotten how **** poor GBP PPV undercards have been?

Man forget that dumb fuk Paulv or whatever he is calling himself..I called him on that bullsh*t a week or so back and he ran like a girl...He was calling Dawson a coward for not fighting Johnson just shortly before, now that Dawson is fighting Johnson he is calling him a coward for fighting Johnson..People like him forget that you can look back at post..His problem is with Dawson every since he beat the **** out of Adamek..He is just a bitter bit8H.

The last GBP PPV had a better undercard than anything else on PPV in 09.

Lightweight Lightning had a sleeper FOTYC in Vincente Escobedo vs Carlos Hernandez. Not only that butit had a very good fight between Kastidis and Chavez on it.

Golden Boy is Boxings UFC...a majority of the top fighters r joining it.
Great that ARum and Oscar can work together.

Suliman is pissed because the ring magazine belt is now as recognizable as the WBC.

Long may it continue...since the imergence of Golden boy weve had some exceptional events...on a more regular basis!!

Oscar is keeping his word and resurecting boxing!!

His boxing nickname is "Los Bandidos".

Sulaiman also tried to strip Hagler a few times when he was undisputed middleweight champ.

    An extract from Four Kings.
'Los Bandidos had grown more insistent with each fight.
When Hagler's 1984 Madison Square Garden defence against Mustafa Hamsho was stated for 15[rounds], the WBC stripped him of him middleweight title, even though Marvelous Marvin made the issue somewhat moot by dispatching the Syrian in three.
Hagler took the issue to court, where a federal judge once again ordered Jose Sulaiman to restore his championship.'

Couldn't have said it better myself. That's his whole problem, period. He wouldn't be saying this **** if the pac-hatton fight would have been for the WBC lightweight title, or the Margarito-Mosley for the WBC welterweight strap, He'd be rooting on Golden Boy.

Damn Hoya is a great businessman. The original post makes a lot of sense and totally goes with everything Hoya had said he would do to the sport. Hoya said he would make boxing as popular as it used to be.
