I think Ward's only real challenge at 175 is Kovalev. He easily beats the one-dimensional Stevenson.

 

Great advice but I already have. Like a said earlier, he seem to hit hard if he connects and he looks athletic. Those are the two attributes that I see. Does he have something else?

Is his defense any good? I saw old guy called Lacy hit him quite easy. Didn´t look promising at all.

Or what about his footwork? Is he somehow elusive or something?

I haven´t seen nothing that indicates he will be an a-class fighter.

Does being a former Cuba amateur matter? Well it sure seems like it does. See Erislandy Lara, Luis Ortiz, Rigondeaux, and others. Cuban pedigree means something.
