damn its really a pick'em fight I would lean towards Barerra but i'm gunna rewatch the b-hop fight before I can pick a winner confidently. Great fight though both have pop and have momentum atm.

    Damnn...

Willie where are ya ?? Lol

Smith might lose this one on points, but also Barrera can get KO'd.

Interesting fight if it happens 50-50

Would've rather seeing them against Beterbiev and Gvodzyk, but good fight nonetheless.

    Barrera UD.

Barrera wins this, I am not sure if Smith Jr is really better than Shabranskyy. I want to see Gvozdyk vs Barrera.

My head says that Barrera wins a decision, but my gut tells me that Smith wins. Difficult fight to predict.

I'm guessing Smith prefers this fight, more money and more winnable. Gvozdyk is really a horrible matchup for him.

He doesn't need a mandatory spot to get a title shot, he's got a big enough name and story to get one regardless.

    2 questions,
    1. what guarantee do we have that Barrera/Smith will actually happen? remember how Barrera/Beterbiev turned out...

    2. what's going to happen to Smith/Gvozdyk? i thought that fight was ordered.

I think Barrera is the better skill fighter. Nice left hook to the body, nice right hand and uppercut. But Smith is tough and determine and riding high. Tough fight and can go either way. Barrera by hard decision.

This is a very good match up. My head is saying Barrera because he is definitely skilled and I think he probably learned a lot from his loss to Ward. My heart is with Joe Smith Jr. though as I feel that he is proof of what hard work and dedication to one's craft can achieve. I'm voting heart on this one.

I thought he was fighting Gvozdyk? Sully Barrera gets the fight but the results remain the same. Joe Smith cracks his chin and puts him on his back on a Saturday night like Thailand street walker.
