****Sultan Ahmed Magomedsaliovich Ibragimov Appreciation Thread ****

I am on board. I always thought Sultan was capable of even more than he did. He had that cool, banging style early on, and switched to being a cautious boxer. Imagine if he could have combined those two styles and made changes between them within a fight.

But thats just me being a keyboard warrior. Truth is, he had a fine career, and I hope he enjoys his retirement.

 

I liked his old style, kicked ass. He was a pretty good fighter. Matched up bad against Wlad though, damn that was a boring fight.

 

he was good, not great. ****, barely good. i've seen his "prime". he matched up well in this era but really, he wasn't that special IMO (course my opinion ain't much)

Do you have any proof that he retired? People were saying that a year ago, but he hadn't actually retired- it was just something his trainer was saying
