Jeff Mayweather turned him into a boring fighter before that he was very exciting. Either way he still schooled Briggs.

 

Briggs was in aweful shape and had awalking pneumonia. Look at Briggs now he is looking healthy and ripped!

 

Yeah, Briggs was hurt with body shots a couple times late in the fight. He even said so in his post fight interview.

I remember watching that fight. At the end Briggs raises his hands and Yells " I'm BACK and I aint GOING anywhere !!!!! " and then the announcer " and the NEW WBO ......."
