Sultan Ibragimov does a better job on Parker than Carlos Takam did and will therefore most likely end up actually beating Parker.
cheers, my bad, i swapped the names subconsciously. easy to confuse em when I call em shaggy and iggy.
Iggy couldn't beat Ray Austin and his best win is a 46 year old Holyfield who took him the distance 5 years after he was obliterated by James Toney. Iggy was a pansy and would run like a chicken away from Parker and lose every round in the process. bty , is that Povetkins computer ?
Ibragimov gets a bit overrated, I've noticed. He was a quality fighter, very highly skilled, and tricky, but he also wasn't the hugest puncher or the hardest to hit (when he wasn't in straight survival mode). With nothing much to worry him coming back I think Parker would outwork Iggy with his own speed and aggressive combination punching to take a close UD.
He got a wide UD on Briggs and old Holyfield, KO'd Mora in 1 and KO'd the formidable Lance Whittaker in 7. You telling me Takam and Ruiz do that? What are their best wins again? I doubt they do it or Parker.
I don't see why not. Takam would be very favoured to outwork that bloated version of Briggs, and would likely outwork that version of Holyfield as well. Neither is a great win for either man. Mora and Whittacker? Who cares?
