Ibragimov- Former WBO HW Champ (2-1 in World Title Fights), 22-1-1 (17) overall, 6'2" with a 76" reach and about 220-225 Lbs. He was never stopped.

    vs.

Chagaev- Former WBA HW Champ (3-1 in World Title Fights), 26-1-1 (17) overall, 6'1" with a 74" reach and about 225-230 Lbs. He was stopped once (LKOby9 W. Klitschko).

    They both fought W. Klitschko-

    Chagaev (LKOby9), Ibragimov (L12)

    Chagaev also fought-
Kali Meehan W12, Nikolay Valuev WMD12, and John Ruiz WSD12

    Ibragimov also fought-
Evander Holyfield W12, Shannon Briggs W12, and Lance Whiatcker KO7.

My pick? Ibragimov by close decision in a dull fight.

Didn't Chagaev beat Ibragimov in the amateurs?

As pros I would make Sultan a close pick over Ruslan. More adaptable and maybe a bit more imaginative.

would of been a fantastic unification bought a couple of years ago. its a fight that should of happened.

would of gone for chagaev back then. beat valuev very convincingly but looking at them now iggy should of been able to do the deed.

they should come out of retirement just for this match lol

This fight was actually scheduled during late 2007, but it was cancelled because Chagaev had hepatitus C, so Ibragimov fought Wlad instead. Back then I would've picked Ruslan to beat Ibragimov, but I actually think Sultan will use his superior speed of foot and quick attacks to win on points, despite Chagaev probably being more skillful.

Close decision could go either way based on the judges.

I dunno Sultan had the worst stance I've ever seen when he fought Wlad. Sultan is the kind og guy that could make anyone look boring.

Yet he went the limit with Wlad, whereas Chagaev didn't....maybe his stance is deceptive.

Chagaev is the more skilled man, but Sultan, with Jeff Mayweather in his trainer, had good plans, mobility, and utilized his gifts very well.

Chag is better, but he gets lazy in there, and I would take the Sultan from the Briggs fight to closely outhustle the Chagaev from the Valuev fight.
