I just read this on ESB's main page:

DUVA: Well, as you pointed out, these are young fighters who want to fight for the title. That's what Calvin wants to do. There's a great deal going on in the heavyweight division right now. I believe that the Klitschko‑Ibragimov fight was just made to unify the title. I think that's a great start. Of course, the winner of this fight is participating in a title eliminator that will lead them to become the mandatory challenger for the IBF title.

    Any corroberating evidence?

i think he simply mis-worded that statement.

im pretty sure if duva knows about unification being offically made, so would some journalists by now.

then again, being a promoter he'd probably be privileged to stuff that the media would be slower to find out.

but while duva has obviously some connection to wladimir via this tournament, i can't see why klitschko-ibragimov camps would tell duva first before anyone else. i mean, it's not like wlad has to fight duva's fighter anytime soon.

what i think he meant to say was, "i heard that wlad and sultan are in talks to make a fight."

though of course i hope i am wrong here! would be great news if true!
