The thing is i know Jermain could be SO much better than he is, it's amazing that he got so far on just his raw talent. Someone like Floyd Mayweather SR would be a pefect trainer for him IMO, but their would be a communication problem i'd imagine  .

Jermain Taylor is an enigma. In the last fight, he was sometimes pumping the jab and would look like a polished boxer. And then all of a sudden he'd take the ugliest looping hook that nobody would ever get caught by! I just don't know how you can put him into one style!

Relatively stationary. Has great athleticism, so he can dodge punches, but uses too much movement which causes him to lose stamina in the later rounds. Has above average to fast hands for a middleweight and can put combinations together pretty nice. He's tall, rangy, and has enough pop to keep most fighters tenative.

I would describe him as an athlete first, a boxer second.

undeveloped .. His undeserved win against Hopkins did him more of a disservice then it helped .. Had Jermain lost he would have had a true measuring stick of where he needs to be in the pro ranks.

Jermain was used by Debela and HBO to get back at Hopkins and doing so may have damaged his career .

I agree with a lot of your points except for his ability to dodge punches. His defense was really bad up until his last fight in which he seemed to improve every aspect of his game.

    Erratic round thief!

The guy is herkey-jerkey and erratic as hell, but at times he has an uncanny abilty to steal rounds. He can get his ass whipped for the first 2 1/2 minutes and then put on a flashy exibition in the last 30 seconds and win the god damn round on the cards!

A B+ talent who has yet to develop into the boxer he can be.When he develops the ability to make boxers fight his fight instead of letting them dictate the pace, he will dominate.Needs to learn to make the proper adjustments as the fight goes on
