Sumbu Kalambay vs. Winky Wright

I see Kalambay outboxing Winky Wright. Unanimous decision.

 

Kalambay all day long.

 

I see Kalambay moving around on Wright and getting around his high defense to land more and get the victory.

 

Kalule was a bit looser than Winky, and although he knocked Sumbu down that was a robbery.

Winky had a better engine than Kalule and was more durable and consistent defensively.

I think Sumbu struggled to get as good a read on lefties, but I reckon he’d make Winky follow him and get the better of him, his upper body mobility and sharper hands would likely see him win a horrible looking fight on points.

 

Kalambay by wide decision. Who has Winky beaten at middleweight (or any weight for that matter) that would make him a favorite to beat a skilled operator like Kalambay?

 

I could see Winky having a very hard time with Kalambay's mobility. I think Sumbu outpoints him pretty comfortably, most likely.

Sumbu take's it .Despite Winky being a great fighter at the lower weight s ,up against middle Sumbu he's no chance .Kalambay by wide decision win here.

 

Love both boxers but think Winky takes this.
Hes alot bigger then Kalambay and that constant southpaw jab would hinder Kalambay .

Barkley was a lot bigger than Kalambay. He won 1 out of 15 rounds.

 

The problem with thst comparison is that Barkley is nowhere close to Winky in terms of skill.
And if you read alot of interviews with boxers that fought Winky most of them were suprised by Winkys strength .
