Jhonny is a BEAST! :good No shame losing to him, in my book.

There's also a little peek at Choi available in the same post, in case you haven't already seen it.

    Back to floor cam.

At this juncture it's been about twenty minutes since Catchpole-Spence ought to have ended, and they probably read the scores out pretty quickly. There's a chance we've missed another short bout in the interim (especially if it ended by KO)...unless there's been a very long hiatus between matches.

Greatest of intentions by Hard Knocks Boxing, but this has not been a rousing success thus far.

If we did indeed miss a 4-rounder during the blackout, it was Simon O'Donnell vs. Lee Noble.

That would leave just the scheduled light middleweight 8-rounder between Steve O'Meara and A.A. Lowe, then a 10-rounder for a minor light welterweight title between Darren Hamilton and Dave Ryan...then the MAIN EVENT.

    Yes indeed, we missed O'Donnell-Noble.

O'Meara and Lowe are conducting their entrances now.

O'Meara came out to "In For The Kill" by La Roux, while Lowe came out to the White Stripes.

    ...:think WAR LOWE!

    Round 1

O'Meara is a miser with his jab, flicking it just once at a time and using it to get distance as he backs away. Lowe is chopping rather ineffectively at him from too far out, not bothering to walk him down. O'Meara starts to double a left hook in place of the jab, able to get it off and take a step off to the right before Lowe can react. They're operating at two different speeds (but with the same low intensity). O'Meara is popping his jab nicely from the outside and circling left. The audio is staggered from the video but it's hard to tell which is on delay. Somewhat distracting. O'Meara is landing his jab to the head and body, all one at a time. Here's a jab/uppercut combo as he scoots off the ropes and flies right by Lowe. O'Meara puts up a loose guard and is able to bounce away some weak jabs from Lowe. A brief scrap just before the bell, nobody getting hit cleanly.

    10-9 O'Meara

O'Meara looks sharp, good shots to both the body and head. Doubt this fight will go the distance.
