Now that Bam was exposed in the Israel Gonzalez fight and retreated back down in weight because Roman and Juan have a little too much life left in them, how do you see this fight going?
I don't understand why Israel Gonzalez giving Bam a much tougher than expected fight is such a huge deal to you. It was a great fight overall and a hard fought win for Bam. Gonzalez is a tough fighter who also made a good account of himself against Kal Yafai and Chocolatito. Bam is only 22 and still improving. Every fighter is gonna come across a guy that'll give them a hard time, it happens. If anything it's beneficial since it gives Bam better experience with how to deal with pressure. Sunny Edwards is a talented, skilled young fighter and I have nothing but respect for Bam to wanting to move down in weight to fight him. That's a fight that's very interesting and could be a huge challenge for Bam. I can see the fight going both ways.
Sunny schools him. But good chance he gets robbed in North America . I think the way Sunny fights he's prone to a robbery.
I just thoroughly enjoyed seeing Bam being hit with a reality brick and coming back down to earth after anointing himself as a special once-in-a-lifetime fighter.
