If Sonny thinks he can lay on the ropes and not loose with Bam he's mistaken. He does it now as if its an advantage saying he gives up rounds. Many a fighter thinks he can change a flaw when the times comes. We will see when the old 'gets hit in the face' happens. Bam by decision.
I don't think Edwards has fought very good opposition since winning the title, and I think the reason for that is mostly economic, but I still think that he isn't on the level of the best in the world. Of course, you can say Bam has also fought pretty weak competition, but in his case his best opponents were recognized talent who were older. It's a case to case matter between the two of course, but I tend to take the latter over the former, and Bam has looked very good vs the best of his opponents while imo Edwards always struggles with his recognizable opposition. He also just won only 7 rounds vs the not recognizable Campos on my card.
Sunny Edwards has elite talent but lacks power snother of my favorites.Hope he gets a chance to.He can box with anyone and win.
