I really hope that I can make it for the main event, but unfortunately there was some damage to a local transformer that occurred right at the beginning of Hurricane Nicole, so while I didn't lose power during the hurricane, they did shut it down this morning to fix it. It should be back up within the hour, but as a pessimist I rarely get my hopes up.

Do you have no laptop or not enough phone battery to rely on?

Damn, I was so close to picking Braithwaite this morning, stylistically I knew he would be an issue for him, but I was expecting to ridiculous cards instead of one.

It was a good guess based on that 116-113 madness.

No, I usually work from my desktop PC, I'm on my cell phone currently, and my battery is not fully charged.

    Conceiçao 10-9 round 1.
He's made this an easy one by sticking to the jab which you can see is solid. Some lovely left hooks to the body and straight rights through the guard too. Onyenani trying to counter and landing a few but not nearly enough to take the round.

As a side note I quite like Paul Smith as a commentator. The Scouse accent isn't pretty as always but he's not prone to bias and reads the fight well.

    Conceiçao 10-9 round 2, 20-18 overall.
To be fair to Onyenani he's not that bad of a boxer and he's doing reasonably well for someone so evidently inexperienced in against a hard punching Olympic gold medallist. He's tough as hell having eaten some bombs with little trouble here and he's landed a good few shots thanks to his gameness although it still isn't enough.

Eesh that's a tough one, I'm sure you know it's on Fite TV for free already but just gonna let you know in case you didn't.

Yeah I know. You're doing a damn good job so far, just keep it up for the main two matches on the card. I'm very interested in Bateson and vs Masoud as well. I'm leaning Masoud by KO.

    Conceiçao 10-9 round 3, 30-27 overall.
Another round of the same for Conceiçao with his outclassed opponent. His punch variety has been poor even though he's doing well with what he has already, I'd really like to see an uppercut to split Onyenani's high guard. A better opponent would be finding a counter for one of these predictable punches by now.

    Conceiçao 10-9 round 4, 40-36 overall.
Conceiçao still with a sharp jab and good follow up shots. He's finding Onyenani easily as he's coming in with hooks to ward him off but the man is taking them well. Conceiçao could easily up the tempo to soften Onyenani up more but he seems comfortable putting on a boxing clinic and having an easy night at the office while banking valuable rounds of pro experience.

Not a bother, not feeling like doing much else as I'm physically shattered from smashing it at the gym for the last few days.

    Conceiçao 10-9 round 5, 50-45 overall.
He's upping the pace slightly now and he's really beating up Onyenani who's certainly proving his toughness because he can eat a shot like a champ, shame the rest of the skillset doesn't match up. This is very easy for Hebert.

    Conceiçao 10-9 round 6, 60-54 overall.
Another higher pace round from Hebert but Onyenani won't budge, the dude's chin can't be questioned as he eats a massive left hook in the midst of throwing his own yet he seems fine. Hebert wraps up a clean sweep with incredible ease.
