I wouldnt be so sure, tbh. Taking into account the reach difference and the absolutely lack of power by Sunny.... It should be an easy win for Yafai.

    Round 1 Walker 10-9
    Round 2 Walker 10-9
    Round 3 Walker 10-9
    Round 4 Walker 10-9
    Round 5 Walker 10-9
    Round 6 Walker 10-9
    Round 7 Walker 10-9

Walker getting caught with jabs and one twos occasionally, but unfazed walking right through them and roughs Ritson up. Walker landing a few more jabs himself. Walker flurries late.

I think Yafai makes a lot of defensive mistakes. I just think Sunny is much more skilled

R7 Ritson (close), 64-69; Clearly Ritson's best round.

I'm probably being too charitable to Ritson, but Walker didn't do a great deal that last round.

I could agree, but you need power to punish those mistakes and sunny doesnt have it at all. Yafai will make mistakes and they will not be punished. Finally Yafai's way bigger reach should make the difference and decide the victory.

21 cms reach difference. That's too much. Without power to make big profit when the shorter fighter makes it to the short distance, he has no chances. 19% KO is too low, way too low.

I would say that it is taylor made for Yafai.

    Round 1 Walker 10-9
    Round 2 Walker 10-9
    Round 3 Walker 10-9
    Round 4 Walker 10-9
    Round 5 Walker 10-9
    Round 6 Walker 10-9
    Round 7 Walker 10-9
    Round 8 Walker 10-9

Same pattern as before, Ritson lands a few eye catching shots, but Walker too active and applying too much pressure to lose the round.

Ritson willingly sitting on the ropes was just peak stupidity, especially when he just had a really good round in the previous one.
I guess fatigue is finally catching up with him.

R8 Walker, 79-73; Walker mauling Ritson for pretty much the whole round there.

Not liking how much the commentators are hyping Ritson's minimal work, it wouldn't shock me in the least if Fast Eddie hands out another Christmas present.

    Round 1 Walker 10-9
    Round 2 Walker 10-9
    Round 3 Walker 10-9
    Round 4 Walker 10-9
    Round 5 Walker 10-9
    Round 6 Walker 10-9
    Round 7 Walker 10-9
    Round 8 Walker 10-9
    Round 9 Walker 10-9

Again Ritson landing some decent counters off the ropes, but alker keeping him on them the majority of the round and outworking him by a mile.
