i agree on the commentary team. i have only seen highlights of this fight. hoping to see a youtube upload soon. the little i seen, it was a barn burner of a fight. both fighters going for broke at a high technical skill.

next one i'm looking forward to is the inoue vs. tapales fight. it's been a good year for boxing fans.

    Thanks

Yes, like I said, I felt it was close at the halfway mark but then Bam-Rod pulled away albeit Sunny still had his moments right up until the last round IIRC.

I don't even like Sunny but he earned his respect by travelling to Bam-Rod's backyard and the heart, bravery and toughness he displayed right up to the bitter end. And for giving him a tough fight and the skill he displayed in it.

I gave Bam-Rod his credit but I'm not going to pretend my eyes haven't seen what they've seen or my ears haven't heard what they've heard

Sunny definitely had his fair share of success and even when he was under the cosh and was getting beaten up in the second half he still had his moments.

He fought his heart out and gave it everything he had and we can ask for no more than that. He didn't stink the joint out like some of his counterparts from the US school of slickness and he was facing someone his own size or bigger, a fighter who will likely be ranked top 10 P4P now, and in their backyard, not a much smaller C or D level in his own backyard like we've seen them stink the joint out against

He displayed a good chin too, especially for a slickster who doesn't get hit much and looks like a malnourished young boy

This was at 112 bud. Think Bam will probably move to 115 to fight Estrada or hopefully Nakatani. Then vacate and Sunny can fight vs someone for a vacant.

    Just watched this.

Hahaha well I got that wrong.

Surprised that sunny decided to bang it out and not use more lateral movement.

Had it quite close going into the seventh.

Think ultimately the size and power was the telling factor.

Accuracy was great as well from bam.

Didn't help though that he stood Infront of him.

Although sunny still give his all at times in the later rounds.

See dazn commentary had the cheer leading outfits on again.

They must be the worse out there surely.

Thank **** that card next week is also on tnt.

Sunny has nothing to be ashamed of. Went into the lions den and made a good scrap out of it. Bam was just too strong.

My understanding is the GWOAT likes heavy hitters.

It’s sad seeing all the comments about how bad DAZN commentary is….because Top Rank commentary is also atrocious and they’re the two main boxing networks now….

Yikes, presentation has been down hill since HBO bowed out, and Showtime bowing out is the death knell, seems that boxing will look and sound like a cheap side-show act now…

Im here for the fights anyway, but man I miss good presentation….
