    let me post something that actually has to do with the thread. Vanes will be sparked pretty soon. Hes overhpyed and really has nothing that really stands out. Kassim Ouma gave him all he could handle, and IMO Ouma won that fight, even knocked him down and all. Ishe Smith beats this guy. now ENJOY

    If you want to talk hype, talk about Angulo, Lara, or Kirkland. Vanes wins over Ouma and Green are bigger accomplishments than anything those other guys have faced. Angulo turned down Ouma in order to face retired welter weight Cosme Riveria on HBO. Throw in that he's atleast a couple years younger than all those guys.

    Vanes is the man. He is a great fighter. He didn't perform well in the Ouma fight, but I believe it was an off-night. Arum must give him better opponents, he has to step up.
