what a trivial and silly "statistic". This is nothing more than a preemptive coping mechanism. Even you know the writing is on the wall, and you're trying to mentally prepare yourself for the disappointment by chalking it up to "miles travelled".

im going to write a official letter of complaint. Im hoping extra expenses for AA Kessler and Froch were paid for.

If Dirrell fought Froch anywhere else he wins that fight. Froch fights Kessler in UK he wins that fight.

AW decisively won his fights.. get over it.

What I said is a fact and, yeah, it is relevant because it shows a clear bias towards Ward.

If Ward beats Froch, I'll give him full credit. It won't be anything to do with him staying at home but the fact remains, he has had a lot more bias shown towards him than anyone else.

However, that's not the only issue. What about the fans? As a Froch fan, I've already travelled more miles than Ward has so far. If I go to the final, which I plan to do, I'll have spent thousands whereas Ward's fans have spent about $4 on petrol. It's bollocks.

Ward has had things all his own way so far but he has also been the best boxer in the tourney so far.

I have no issues with the final being in America - it was always going to be. Hope its in the East Coast though.

Ward beats everyone anyway so what's the big deal?

Froch will win 2 rounds if he's lucky.

life is not fair, and boxing is definitely not fair. Showtime is an American company. If Sky Sports put on the Super 6 the final would be in England.

Ward is huge talent, but he needs to cut the Oakland umbilical cord to be respected.

What would happen if Bute and Ward did get it on,would they have a virtual fight by video link,or maybe Xbox live ? Bute in Montreal and Ward in Oakland.
People knock Dirrell for being a coward and a cry baby, but at least he had the balls to fight Froch in Frochs backyard.

Maybe they could fight above Niagara falls on the US Canadian border?

Seriously though, do you think Ward somehow refused to travel? The sites of these fights are determined by promoters and television networks, not the fighters.

Regarding bias. Didn't Ward have to face the odds-on favorite in his first fight? Showtime gave Ward a bad draw. Kessler could have KOed Ward and ended his career. How quickly we forget how big an underdog he was.

Ward having to fight the pre tournament favourite in his first fight,is a very valid point. But realistically, nobody was sure which version of Kessler would turn up,he'd been inactive and looked less than convincing in his comeback/warmup fight.
Rightly or wrongly,a loss didn't stop anybody progressing in the tournament,so a loss to Kessler wouldn't have ended his participation.
However,no matter what your views on Wards capabilities, that fight stunk the joint out,had Froch won in the same circumstances these forums would have been full of ,hate threads questioning,Froch, the judges and the ref.Whether its TV,promototers,or Ward himself who forced the hometown fights, the fact remains,he's been able to fight at home in every fight, whilst others have been forced to travel, and in anybodies view thats an advantage.
