    Dirrel out
    Taylor out
    kessler out

Sounds like to me the tounament was too rough for the supposedly best. They elimanted themselves by not being as physically tough as the people that they fought now
We move on now to people who will take there place and when its all said and done the super six has cleaned up the whole division basically with 9 of the best fighters going head to head unifying the title deciding who is the best once and for all and at the end of the day the winner out of the 9 who entered will be the true champion........he is the physically stronger fighter, he is the mentally tougher fighter, and will be the most talented fighter reguardless of who he may be. because out of 9 of the best he still stands with his hands in the air.

Hopefully, when it's over, the so-called best can lure Lucian Bute into a bout.

The following Euro-level athletes should replace Dirrell. They will inject excitement and vitality into an otherwise drab tournament:

    Nikola Sjekloca 17-0
    Maxim Vlasov 18-0
    Server Emurlayev 17-0
    Konstantin Piternov 10-0
    Vilmos Balog 29-0
    Gevorg Khatchikian 11-0
    Niko Jokinen 10-0

I had high hopes for Dirrell, and felt he was quickly establishing himself as a tough, Euro-level talent with his decision win over Arthur Abraham. I hope that he recovers.

I would've been all for this thread if you'd have left out the last word of the title.

    "The super six must go".

    That's better.

I hope Dirrell recovers also, but I dont think Dirrell is as talented as many think. His big win is over a former MW champ by DQ, against Froch a fully fledged SMW he was beaten. You make some good points but I dont think Dirrell was in the league you mention, but there was some promise.

Good choice of possible replacements. I must add though that V Balog is 30-0.

    Keep up the good work

Abraham and Froch have gained a lot of respect in my eyes. Three guys dropped out, and Ward insists on fighting only in his home town. AA and Carl just keep soldiering on.

They should have Ward face the winner of Froch/Abraham and have that person declared the winner of the super six.

Only one problem will Ward leave his hometown.

What american figher is left out there ? The policy of super 6 so far was :
An US fighter out and US fighter in (or at least loved by USA public)
    So:
    Kelly Pavlik?!
    Librado Andrade?!
    Marcus Johnson?!
    Tavoris Cloud ?!

Don't put Pavlik into the super 6. Bute needs an opponent for March.

The tournament will never end. The worst part is that there won't be any good loser to fight for Bute until the end of the semi-finals. They will be available in almost a full year.
