There's a good chance we will get little or none of this because it's expensive and the average man doesn't know any of the fighters.

There are always other places to watch;). I'm confident that the Germans might televise it live considering that it's close to the AA-JT fight. I cannot believe this isn't on British TV, though. It's so ****ing stupid- how much crap are the beeb, Sky and ITV showing instead of this anyway?:-(

If this isn't picked up by SKY then it will be a travesty!

Why blame the TV channels? It was Hennessey and Froch being greedy that scuppered any deal last time.

Dunno whether this matters or not but I thought I'd point out that Sky's boxing schedule goes up to Oct 16th. See http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12947,00.html and 443 on skytext. It confirms that FMJ v JMM is not on ppv.

Secondly the date of the current schedule ends one day before the start of the super six.

    I don't think it's dead yet.

Why doesn't Froch simply do his own TV deal and leave Mick to do what he is good at.

    Eating burgers.

I'd rather sky pick it up as they'll be the ones most likely to show both the Abraham-Taylor fight aswell as the Froch fight on the same night.

In truth, why should fighters give any of their TV money to promoters?

After all, it is them that people want to see. Haters get on the back of Hatton, Hamed and Lewis for various things, money being one of the major ones, but why allow people to get rich off the back of you?

The promoter is there because of the fighter - in nearly all cases - and therefore that is where the balance of power should lie.

I strongly suspect the rights to the whole of this tournament will be way too expensive for the TV companies to justify picking it up. We'll get a couple of fights if we're lucky.
