I like the inclusion of Taylor. He's got two excellent wins over Hopkins on his resume, regardless of the circumstances, and is a good technical fighter. The 6 are balanced equally in terms of technical boxing ability (JT, Dirrell, Ward) and punchers (Froch, AA and Kessler). Also, the fact this might be Taylor's last chance to put himself back to the top of the division after recent losses is quite intriguing

I like the inclusion of Taylor, there's a possibility of Froch/Taylor II now.

    Dirrell.

Hasn't done absolutely nothing and seems way to green.

I'm not knocking Direll but I'd guess that Showtime also wanted a 'quota' of American boxers for its audience?

Right, no other reason a US-based network wanted an unproven US-based fighter in the tourney, let alone the other promoters. You're a bitter, bitter man.

Original post is nonsense. JT is fine to be there. Dirrell is the obvious candidate, but he has feasible reasons to be there.

How many fights of AA have you seen? He has great 1punch KO power, you can bet on this. His power will be even better with the extra weight. Kessler and Froch are more or less accumulative punchers whereas AA really has the power to KO someone with one punch. Look at Gevor, Elcock, Ayala, Ikeke, Marquez. They either have been KTFOd or quit on their stool. Although JT has a decent chance to win against Abraham, one thing he has to avoid is to fight without a defense. If he does that, he's f.....d.

I would have liked to have seen Bika instead of Dirrell.

But I'm happy with the line up anyway.

I'd prefer if Bute was there instead of either Taylor or Dirrell. However, Taylor is a big name and has accomplished enough to deserve the chance to redeem himself in this tournament. Time will tell if Dirrell deserves his place.
